2022-06-24
Schisandra contains organic acids, so it cannot be compatible with the following medicines.
① Avoid compatibility with aminoglycoside and macrolide antibiotics, because it can increase the acidity of urine, thereby weakening the antibacterial efficacy of these antibiotics.
② Avoid compatibility with sulfa drugs and their acetylated compounds, because it can lead to an acidic environment, reduce the solubility of sulfa drugs, cause sulfa drugs to precipitate in the urinary system, form crystals, and cause crystalluria, hematuria, etc.
This kind of traditional Chinese medicine containing organic acids also includes honeysuckle, dogwood, privet privet, ebony, white peony, hawthorn, citrus aurantium, papaya, tangerine peel, etc.
